This Privacy Policy explains how Noahark Games (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our games, our website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
This is our studio-wide policy. Each game may collect different data depending on its features — where a game has its own policy, it is linked from that game’s page. For example, see the Numbox Privacy Policy.
Who we are
Noahark Games is an independent game studio based in Hanoi, Vietnam. You can reach us at privacy@noahark.games for any privacy-related questions or requests.
Information we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. Your data footprint with us depends on which of our games and features you use.
Gameplay analytics. We collect aggregated, pseudonymous information about how you play — session length, level completion, screens viewed, crashes. This helps us fix bugs and design better games.
Device information. Operating system, model, language, region, and a platform-issued or randomly generated identifier (such as an advertising or installation ID). We do not collect your name, phone number, or contacts.
Advertising data. If a game shows ads, the ad SDK may receive your platform advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android) and ad-interaction data, subject to your device’s privacy settings and any required consent. You can reset or disable these IDs at any time in your device settings.
Support communications. If you contact us, we keep your message and our response so we can follow up.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your gameplay data to train AI models. Our games do not require an account.
Third-party services we use
Across our games and website we use:
- Google AdMob — advertising (in free titles that show ads)
- Google Firebase — analytics and crash reporting
Each service has its own privacy policy (Google, Firebase). We configure them to minimize data collection where supported — non-personalized ads by default, consent gating in the EU/UK, and IP truncation where available.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate our games
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability
- To understand what’s fun and what’s not, in aggregate
- To deliver and measure advertising in free games
- To respond to your support requests
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and cheating
- To comply with legal obligations
Sharing and disclosure
We share information only with:
- Service providers (the SDKs above) acting on our behalf under contractual obligations
- Platforms you download from (Apple, Google)
- Authorities when required by valid legal process
- An acquirer, if our studio is ever acquired or merged — your data would remain subject to this policy, and you’d be notified
Children’s privacy (COPPA)
Our games are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected such information without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@noahark.games and we will remove it.
Your rights under GDPR (EU/EEA/UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise these rights, email privacy@noahark.games. We will respond within 30 days.
Our legal bases for processing are: legitimate interests (analytics, fraud prevention), consent (advertising on supported devices), and legal obligations.
Your rights under CCPA / CPRA (California users)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Delete personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — we do not sell personal information, but some ad SDKs may constitute “sharing” under CPRA; you can opt out by disabling personalized ads in your device settings
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights
To exercise these rights, email privacy@noahark.games.
Data deletion
Because our games store progress on your device and do not use accounts, uninstalling a game removes its on-device data. For any data held by our service providers, you can request deletion as described on our Data Deletion page.
Data retention
- Gameplay analytics: kept in pseudonymous form for up to 24 months.
- Crash reports: kept up to 90 days.
- Support communications: kept up to 2 years.
International data transfers
Our service providers may process your data outside your country. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms approved by relevant regulators.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where supported by our service providers, access controls, and the principle of least privilege. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in-game or by email.
